Jon Kabat-Zinn
Mindfulness is our innate ability to fully embrace the present moment, without harsh judgment or unnecessary distractions. It invites us to connect with our breath, visualize soothing images, and engage in practices that calm both our body and mind. By practicing mindfulness, we empower ourselves to break free from harmful patterns and automatic reactions. Instead, we learn to observe our thoughts and emotions with kindness, allowing us to respond thoughtfully rather than reactively

THE JOURNEY
Many start on their journey towards mindfulness by using an app due to it's go anywhere simplicity but often they become frustrated as they don't achieve "it". Science has proven that it takes approximately 8 weeks for your brain to start re-wiring itself through regular mindfulness practice. That's why a mindfulness course is often the best way to get started. Remember though, you will need to keep practicing after the initial 8 weeks. That's why I offer ongoing support to all my students.
